Migunj bridge repair and test operation completes

Biratnagar, Oct 10 (RSS): Repair of the Mirgunj Bridge which was damaged by the flood on last August has completed now.
The bridge is five-km away in the south from bordering Indian market, Jogbani, With the repair, the test operation of the vehicular movement of loaded trucks has been also carried out.
It took around one-and-a-half months to complete the repair and test operations of the bridge.

However, the movement of small vehicles and petro tankers through the bridge is yet to come to smooth, shared Biratnagar Customs Office staff Devi Bhakta Poudel.
The bridge is expected to come into full fledge operations from today. Obstruction of vehicular movement of containers to and from the bridge had also adversely affected the revenue collection of the Biratnagar Customs Office.
