Bill drafted to replace Muluki Ain to be endorsed soon: Minister Thapa

Pokhara, August 8: Minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Yagya Bahadur Thapa has said that the bill drafted to replace the ‘Muliki Ain’ or the General Code will be endorsed soon.
Speaking in a programme organized to mark 70th anniversary of Nepal Women Association here today, Minister shared that the new bill was utmost in accordance changed context.


Minister Thapa focused the role of association played for the establishment of the democracy in the country. He further opined that the three tie of election was essential to complete implementation of the constitution.
Lawmaker Sharada Poudel, Kathmandu Metropolitan City deputy mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi, Association chairperson Kopila Ranabhat among others had focused the association’s role during the democratic movement in the country. RSS
