‘Increase investment in technical education’
Kathmandu, Oct 24 (RSS): Minister for State for Education Sheshnath Adhikari expressed his commitment that the government would spur investment in the area of technical education.
At a programme organized by Sanchar Kendra Nepal on ‘Technical education today’s need’, State Minister Adhikari stressed the need for the state to augment investment in technical and vocational education so as to reduce unemployment rate in the country.
Member-secretary at Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Pushpa Raman Wagle also underlined the need of huge public investment keeping in mind the widening scope and market iin the technical field.
Also speaking on the occasion were Nepal Student Union President Nain Singh Mahar ANNISU (R) Chairperson Ranjeet Tamang and ANNFSU Secretary Samik Badal, among others.
