Four killed, southern part inundated due to floods in Jhapa

Jhapa, August 12: Four people have lost their lives due to floods triggered by incessant rainfall in different parts of the district today.
The deceased are Dhanmaya Garsane of Jhapa rural municipality-2, Kamala Darlami of same rural municipality-3, Bijay Pandey of Shivasatakshi Municipality-1 and Ram Rajbanshi of Kachankawal rural municipality-3 of the district.
The southern part of the district is mostly affected by the floods as 1,249 houses are inundated by the floods there. Local administration has alerted locals to be alert due to possible threat of floods.
