Vote count halts in Sunsari

Itahari, Dec 11 (RSS): The counting of votes in constituency no. 3 of Sunsari remains stalled after currency notes as well as the head part of the ballot that should remain outside the ballot box were found in course of counting of the votes.

The problem is yet to be stalled as the two leading candidates in the count CPN-UML’s Bhagwati Chaudhary and NC’s Bijaya Kumar Gachchadar continue to trade charges of rigging against one another.
The UML and NC cadres and leaders even resorted to a clash earlier in the day.
As per the latest count, Chaudhary is ahead of Gachchadhar, presently the Deputy Prime Minister, by 155 votes.
