Missing Budha’s body found inside jeep

Jumla, Aug 25: A person missing in a jeep accident near Lorpa village of Dillichaur in Patarasi rural municipality has been found dead.

Datta Budha went missing when a Mahindra jeep (Bhe 1 Cha 2144) fell into the Tila river on Wednesday. The jeep plunged some 200 metres downhill from the road.

His body was recovered from inside the jeep by the security forces led by Battalion Commander, Sushil Kumar Thapa, of Bagawati Dal Battalion and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Guru Bishnu Kafle, on Thursday.

DSP Kafle said his body was found trapped inside the jeep when it was retrieved from the incident site. Budha’s body was handed over to his kin after an autopsy. His final rites were carried out on the same day. The jeep did not have a route permit. RSS
