Three – year – old girl drowns in underground water tank

August 11: A three – year – old girl from Manange Chautara of Besisahar has drowned in a water tank.

Kritika Gurung was found by neighbours while flailing for life in a 1000 – litre underground water tank. Her mother Monika was shopping outside at the time of the incident.

The locals rescued the girl and rushed her to the Lamjung District Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival, police said. The Gurung family, native of Gaunbhachowk of Besisahar municipality – 10, had been living at Besisahar Bazaar. RSS
